Apple has announced a smaller iPad called the iPad Mini. It starts at $329, has 1024x768 screen resolution on its 7.9" display, and is powered by the dual-core A5 chip.

They also announced a new iPad 4, wish is a refreshed iPad 3 but with a faster A6x CPU and lightning connector, plus faster WiFi and an upgraded front-facing camera.
