In this video, Remind will introduce you to ‘Empire’, a new self-hosted PaaS built on top of Amazon’s EC2 Container Service (ECS). Empire is an open-sourced project providing a mostly-Heroku-compatible API. It allows teams to deploy and manage applications in a method similar to Heroku, but with the added flexibility and control of running your own Amazon ECS container instances.
