This recorded session highlights how Zooniverse, one of the largest citizen science projects, used crowdsourcing to help discover the birthplace of planets and record the behavior of bees, among other scientific investigations. You will hear how they overcame hurdles in scaling to meet public demand using AWS and how the Zooniverse was born when a scientist was analyzing galaxy data and after one week, only made it through 5% of the data.
