The Z68 Chipset for Intel's 2nd Generation Core i3/i5/i7 Sandy Bridge Processors does a few things for you: first, it enables both CPU overclocking (with K-series CPUs) and GPU overclocking of the integrated GPU. This combines the functions of the H67 and P67 chipsets that were released along with Sandy Bridge. It also allows you to use Smart Response Technology, combining a small SSD and an HDD to enhance your system's performance, and Quick Sync, which is an accelerated video-encoding tool that processes via the iGPU.

Gigabyte's new Z68XP-UD5 motherboard allows you to use all these features; it includes an HDMI-out for use with the Sandy Bridge iGPU, and has some excellent high-end capabilities (6Gbps eSATA, dual Xfire/SLI, loads of USB 3.0, etc.) that make this an incredibly versatile and well-rounded motherboard.
