Kingston’s DataTraveler 2000 USB Flash drive has 256-bit AES hardware encryption to protect data. It’s OS independent, with no software required. The read-only mode restricts write access to the drive. The DataTraveler 2000 can be set to automatically lock after a specific amount of time. This feature can protect against unauthorized use when the drive is connected to a host but unattended. It’s easy to enable and disable the time-out lock and it can be set for any time between 1 and 99 minutes.
