You’ve surely noticed a unique problem when taking your applications to the cloud: the need to find modern ways to observe your traffic. Today’s applications, especially those designed as microservices, are composed of a score of distributed services. We need to seek out new tools for observing and troubleshooting them. AWS provides a distributed tracing framework called AWS X-Ray that enables you to visualize how requests flow through your cloud infrastructure.
