In 2015, there were 818 fatal bicycle/motor vehicle crashes and an estimated 45,000 cycling injuries in the U.S. Imagine if we could leverage AWS technologies to make cycling safer and more enjoyable? The Smartcycle warns cyclists about hazards in real-time through audio/visual cues by linking digital cameras and sensors with AWS machine learning and IoT services.
