The University of Queensland built a data lake using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The University of Queensland is a public research university in Australia, founded in 1909. Using Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and AWS Storage Gateway among other services, the university is able to store all of its data in one place, gather more insights to make data-driven decisions, enhance research, and deliver better services for its students.
