Since using Amazon Web Services (AWS), SSDU Innovations Sdn Bhd—also known as Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU)—is able to quickly build new, smart services for Malaysian citizens that are available, reliable, and secure. SSDU is a subsidiary of Menteri Besar Selangor Inc. (MBI), which was mandated by the Selangor State Government of Malaysia to implement smart initiatives throughout Selangor. Using AWS, SSDU can quickly build minimum viable products and scale them up and down as needed, using Amazon Cognito to authenticate users and synchronize data, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to scale applications and for storage.
