Everyone is talking about gaming PC upgrades right now, and you shouldn’t neglect your RAM and storage when you’re looking to improve performance. In this video we explain how RAM impacts gaming performance numbers like FPS, and demonstrate the difference a RAM upgrade can make by installing 16 GB of Crucial Ballistix Max Gaming RAM and properly activating XMP overclocking. Then we take a look at the time you can save when you make the switch from a traditional HDD to an M.2 NVMe SSD like the Crucial P5 – which can be significant if you are playing a game with lots of loading screens, like Microsoft Flight Simulator.
