At Star Wars Celebration 2022, we meet up with Regal Robot's Tom Spina and take a look at the new Star Wars Archive Collection of character maquette replicas from the production of the original Star Wars. Tom explains the lineage of figures like a set of four Taun Taun concept sculpts, which Phil Tippet original sculpted to explore the design of the creature to present to George Lucas. Here's how the artists at Regal Robot digitally scan and recreate these artifacts from the making of Star Wars!
