Choice Hotels, a franchisor in the hospitality industry, reduced costs by 40% and saved developer time and effort by moving to managed open-source observability. Using Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus and AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry, Choice Hotels improved interoperability and standardized its dashboard for metrics, resulting in a simplified view into its system and faster troubleshooting.
