Amazon Verified Permissions Quick Start for OpenID Connect (OIDC) adds role-based access control (RBAC) to Amazon API Gateway APIs with a point and click wizard. AWS launched a new integration with standard OIDC identity providers, Amazon Verified Permissions, and Amazon API Gateway that reduces the time developers spend on securing APIs using permissions based on user groups.

Amazon Verified Permissions is a fine-grained authorization service that helps accelerate application development by decoupling authorization logic from business logic.

The Quick Start for OIDC feature further accelerates application development by providing developers with a wizard to integrate Verified Permissions with their applications and APIs in just a few clicks. In this video, you will see an overview of the Quick Start feature and demonstration of the feature capabilities with Keycloak.
