//HONOR MAGIC V3 & MAGIC V FLIP: ROAD TRIP REVIEW
To me, the most exciting smartphones continue to be those that change their shape depending on what you want to do with them – and Honor continues to be one of the most exciting brands in that foldable space.
The Honor Magic V3 (and, to a lesser extent, its clamshell cousin the Magic V Flip) is the ultimate embodiment of its manufacturer’s mission to make phones that seem impossible. For the V3 that means a book-type foldable slim enough to shame the competition; for the V Flip it means a cover screen that got huge before that became table stakes; and for both it means cameras that surprise (and software that does not).
I took both of these Snapdragon-powered smartphones to Qualcomm’s summit of the same name in Hawaii, for yet another episode of “Why Can’t We Get Phones This Cool In the US?” also known as … the MrMobile Road Trip Review.
[ABOUT MRMOBILE'S HONOR MAGIC V3 REVIEW / HONOR MAGIC V FLIP REVIEW]
MrMobile's Road Trip Review for the Honor Magic V3 and Honor Magic V Flip was produced following several weeks with a Magic V3 review sample provided by Honor, and a V Flip retail unit purchased by MrMobile. Tested on T-Mobile and Google Fi in the USA.
Filmed partially on location on Maui at the 2024 Snapdragon Summit, for which Qualcomm provided travel, lodging, food & drink and an ATV excursion to a subset of the attendees.
MrMobile does not offer manufacturers the opportunity to preview, edit or approve content before publication. Neither Honor nor Qualcomm provided compensation in exchange for this coverage. The lone sponsor of this video is DeleteMe.
