This is the incredible Mercedes G500 4×4²!

It’s an ultra-big off-roading behemoth based on the previous generation Mercedes G-Class! Standing at a huge 2.25m tall while riding on custom 22” tyres, this is one of the most epic off-roaders around!

It was first released in 2015 and cost an incredible £200,000 when new. And not only that, it came in weighing a colossal 3 tonnes! So given it came in with such a huge price tag and weight, you’d expect them to upgrade the engine too, right? Wrong! Under the bonnet, you’ll still find the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as in the old G500. Still, we guess it could be much worse!

So the real question is - is this off-roading heavyweight worth it?! Especially when you consider buying one in 2020 will now cost you at least £250,000? Mat’s about to find out!
