In case you are unfamiliar with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

I do not want people to think for a second that I do not support the research and contributions to ASL for one second. I am a large supporter of charities and donate to many... I am, however, extremely disappointed in the people who use the Ice Bucket challenge as a way of avoiding donations.
