Alex Krugman and his KRÜGSPEED team build Lotus Exige racecars. Leo Parente and /ShakeDown visit the team at Lime Rock Park [home of the Skip Barber Racing School - where Leo learned to race] to catch up on team preparations for the SCCA Runoffs and to drive the Supercharged Lotus Exige racecar [on the track Leo last raced all the way back in 1992!]. This show, Part 1, takes a behind-the-scenes look at the KRÜGSPEED team, the car, and what it's like to race at the higher levels of amateur competition.
