No one is surprised when Land Rover's new Defender 110 is good at going up a very challenging off-road trail. "That's what it's meant for!" Everyone says. "Any Jeep could do that!" They say. And maybe they aren't wrong. But then you have to take the canyon road back home. Most off-road vehicles would be miserable in this scenario, but not the Defender 110, which, even on off-road tires, displays a shocking amount of pace and poise on a tight canyon road. The Smoking Tire's OG Cameraman Thaddeus Brown joins.

***Update: In this video I say we have an 'X' trim level. This is incorrect. We have an SE P400 with many options from the X, but not the full X package, which has a lot more leather and luxury. Our As-Tested Price was only $72,000, not $85,000 as claimed in the video. Sorry!
