We’re treating you to another Off-Road Challenge!
We’ve brought back the awesome Tesla-powered 2010 Land Rover Defender, and this time we’re putting it up against the brand new Defender 90!
This new Defender 90 has a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that can produce 250hp & 570Nm. It’s packed with incredible tech designed to make off-reading easier, including surface-studying cameras and terrain response. Will this give it the edge over its all-electric rival?
The electric Defender, meanwhile, has been fitted with the motor and inverter from a Tesla Model S. As a result, it can put down 450hp & 450Nm. But thanks to this conversion, it costs a staggering £150,000 - more than three times the starting price of the new Defender 90!!!
Not only are these two cars are going to duke it out in four off-road challenges, Mat’s also going to compare their exteriors, their interiors, and launch them both to 60mph. Stick with us to see which car comes out on top!
