We’re back with another petrol v electric car drag race! This time it’s Yianni in the Audi RS e-tron GT going up against the Mat in the Mercedes-AMG E63 S.

In previous races against Audi RS cars, the E63 S has thoroughly demolished the competition! That’s thanks to its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, which can produce 612hp and 850Nm of torque.

The RS e-tron GT, meanwhile, can deliver a huge 646hp in launch mode from its two electric motors! It’s slightly down on torque compared to the E63 S, though, producing 830Nm - and it’s also heavier than the AMG too, weighing in at 2,347kg compared to the E63 S’s 2,010kg!

So… will it be a walkover again for the E63 S? Or will the RS e-tron GT recoup some honour for RS cars everywhere by defeating the E63 S over the standing quarter-mile? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
