When the 4 cylinder Mustang Ecoboost was announced I remember it like it was yesterday. The internet went wild, giving the new platform nothing but hate before it even came out. It didn't help that the new Coyote 5.0 engine was taking the tuner world by storm and putting the Ecoboost in the shadows. However the real question to me always was - was this any better than the V6 that hurt the Mustang's reputation all these years?
