The Porsche Taycan is a firm favourite of ours, probably the best sporting EV since its launch, mostly because it feels unequivocally like a Porsche.
Hyundai has made sporty cars too, of course. Its N range of hot hatchbacks were at times class leading but when it came to making an electric driver's car it went all-out to create something entirely different. The wildly impressive Ioniq 5 N is the result.
