Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf has been released by canonical, ships with linux kernel 4.2, unity 7.3.2, Compiz Window Manager that Drives the Unity Desktop Updated to Version 0.9.12.2. the new release of Ubuntu 15.10 also introduces stateless persistent network interface names.

Another important change in Ubuntu 15.10 is Unity Overlay scrollbars replaced with GNOME overlay scrollbars and most of the packages from the GNOME stack, updated to version 3.16.x.
