Kodi formerly known as XBMC is an award-winning free and open source (GPL) software media player and entertainment. It available for Linux Dsitribution, Mac OSX, Windows, iOS, and Android.
Use the following command to install Kodi 14 Entertainment Center in Linux Mint 17:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc
