There's been a lot of controversy surrounding Sony's Xperia Z5 Premium 4K capabilities; it quickly became a polarising topic, especially because of the fact that it isn't really clear how the Japanese smartphone manufacturer implemented 4K usage on its smartphone.
There's no doubt about it, this is the world's first 4K smartphone, but would it have been better to label it "4K ready"? In this video we're explaining how 4K is achieved, and how the Xperia Z5 Premium 4K is behaving, what it is, what it is not, and what you should expect. All of this, in order to both shed light on the matter, as well as help you make an educated decision if it comes down to purchasing the Xperia Z5 Premium, or not, based solely on its 4K capabilities.
Sit back, enjoy, and drop us a comment, with your thoughts, on whether you think this is a good implementation, a bad one, a compromise, or just a first step of the evolution towards insane resolutions on our smartphones.
