Browsing on any mobile device is handy, but how much of your data plan can be eaten up by browsing? Luckily this is where Opera Mini comes in handy. Opera Mini is a handy mobile browser that has a lot of nifty tricks up its sleeve, but one of the biggest selling points definitely has to be the ability to save some of your valuable data. Even when you visit a mobile site, a lot of things are being loaded in the background, and pictures are typically just scaled down desktop versions which means they are larger than you really need. Opera Mini can take care of all of this with a data-savings mode which strips out parts of a web page, reduce the number of pixels in an image and so on all in an effort to keep the page from gobbling up more of your data plan than it really needs to.
