Jon R is back with an all new show where he rants and raves on various topics in and out of the tech world. On this week's episode, Jon discusses sim cards - specifically, what Apple has done to them. When the iPhone 4 was released, Apple introduced to the mobile world the Micro-Sim. Since then, it has been recognized by some folks as the "new standard" and loads of sim adapters and cutters have been released to the consumer market. Fast forward to 2012, with the launch of the iPhone 5, Apple shrunk the Sim card once again to the new "Nano" size. This new change was definitely uncalled for and had more to do with proprietary control than design innovation. Find out more in this episode of Rants! tchno.be/QIckB7
