Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime - First Impressions
Four cores. And it feels so good.
The first product to ship with Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core mobile chipset is upon us, and if first impressions tell the truth, it's a dandy. Asus' Eee Pad Transformer Prime picks up where the original Transformer left off with a refined and slimmed down body and twice the cores inside. Just 0.32 inch (8.3 mm) and tipping the scales at a scant 1.29 pounds (586 grams), Transformer Prime is both thinner and lighter than Apple's iPad 2 and packs a bigger punch than its Android rival, Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1.
