Today we're taking a closer look at some new storage offerings from Seagate.

-- Seagate GoFlex Family of Products --

The GoFlex family of products features 2.5" and 3.5" external hard drives that have an upgradeable custom SATA adapter. Each adapter can be swapped out for a different interface, so you can move from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0, eSATAp, or Firewire 800.

-- Seagate Momentus XT --

The Seagate Momentus XT is a true hybrid drive, featuring the storage density of a magnetic drive and the access speeds of an SSD. The drive works with a built-in algorithm that tracks your most-commonly-used data; by pre-loading this data onto the SSD portion of the drive, the drive's performance improves noticably over time.
