Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) makes it easy to run Kubernetes on AWS. Join AWS and our container ecosystem partners for a deep dive on Amazon EKS and explore solutions that help extend the capabilities of Kubernetes on AWS. Learn more at amzn.to/2M4hB6P.

Amazon EKS tajes all the best practices for running an HA, secure, logged, and monitored Kubernetes cluster, and automates it into a one-click deployment. This lets app teams focus on building and running apps. While stateless applications easily run across Availability Zones, what about stateful applications? In this session, we showed how teams can quickly and easily run stateful applications in EKS across multiple Availability Zones. We then showed how data can be moved across multiple clusters, migrating Kubernetes persistent volumes in an application consistent manner. Teams can then promote applications from a development cluster to a production EKS cluster. This allows customers to more easily run stateful applications, even across clusters.
