CNET, the world’s leading tech news and reviews site has moved its 20+ year old business into GCP. In this presentation, we will review the path and process the team took to move all of CNET’s workloads from an on premises datacenter into the cloud. A key focus for the team was to strike a balance between lift and shift and cloud native - to take full advantage of the power of GCP without incurring substantial refactoring costs.
