By going serverless on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Comic Relief can process up to 350 donations per second during peak broadcast moments, all the while achieving a 93 percent cost reduction. Comic Relief is a major United Kingdom (UK) charity, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty. To scale up on demand and to power its serverless solution, Comic Relief uses AWS Lambda.
