With an aging server infrastructure, Hydro Tasmania migrated its on-premises workloads to the AWS Cloud to store its data and quickly deploy new services. Hydro Tasmania, a Tasmanian government business, is the predominant electricity generator in the state of Tasmania. Hydro Tasmania uses Amazon Simple Storage Services Glacier (Amazon S3 Glacier), Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), and more to improve its agility and performance with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
