Value: as a noun, is "the worth of something compared to the price paid or asked for it." The whole idea that you're not just paying for the right to own something, but that you're also getting what you paid for.

In smartphones, value is an interesting proposition. Right now we're in this foldable fever, where companies assume that the cool factor of collapsing your phone or tablet will be enough for you to want to shell out 15 to 20 Benjamins, and my question is, do you really need to fold your phone at all?

Is this king of specs in the camera, power, and size department really worth $1400 at a time when the king Samsung intends to dethrone was almost half the price when it launched a couple of months ago.
