Managing enterprise-scale distributed business and operations on Google Cloud

Last year in a breakout session at Google Cloud NEXT, we talked about managing a large scale migration to Google Cloud, using the example of Unity’s migration success story.

This year, we discuss how to manage an enterprise scale business on Google Cloud, with topics focused on strategy, operations & budget. This session digs into the operational readiness aspects - including SRE Training, CRE and TAM engagement, and the defining of the target operating model. For this discussion we leverage the example of how Unity has scaled up seamlessly 5X on Google Cloud and across various workloads, and how it is taking the maximum benefits of Google Cloud beyond just core compute and into other managed services like GKE, BigQuery, BigTable, and more.
