Right now we're hitting a third wave of reasons to stay home, and yup, for the holidays. Obviously a way to stay entertained while at home during this period is essential, but at the same time, it's not like if this economy invites anyone to spend a lot of money on a TV.

So yes, the world is full of great and expensive offerings that extend from 8K to OLED, but we're talking thousands of dollars in each investment. If you can dive into that, I'll leave a few links for our recommendations on those categories. Thing is, for the rest of us looking into buying in the hundreds of dollars range, there's actually never been a better time to buy. If you're in the market for the best bang for the buck TV money can buy, I think we've found the best one.

This is the Hisense H8G Quantum, one of the products we covered back at CES 2020, and the successor to one of my favorite TVs from 2 years ago. The thing is, if last year this TV was good, this year it's shocking how much they’ve been able to cram in here for one of the most aggressive starting prices in the market.
