Amazon Detective enables you to conduct faster and more efficient security investigations by automatically collecting logs from your AWS resources and building a linked set of data using machine learning, statistical analysis, and graph theory. This video shows how to further investigate an Amazon GuardDuty finding by analyzing the Amazon VPC flow information for an Amazon EC2 instance. This demonstration shows how to use Detective to identify the IP address of interest to determine and investigates the EC2 instance that the IP address is connecting to. There is also a detailed lesson on how to analyze this data to better analyze traffic spikes, anomalies, and correlated traffic pattern behaviors.
