Amazon Aurora supports a feature called database clones which is useful for a number of use cases like running analytical queries, assess the impact of changes to the database or simply create a copy of production database. You can also share your Aurora DB clusters with other AWS accounts for quick and efficient cloning. In this video, we have talked about the cross account cloning feature, its use cases and presented a quick demo on how to create and use the cross account database clones.
