In this episode of AWS Community Chats, Aley Hammer is joined with Chris Thompson, the Co founder and CEO from Amber Electric. Amber Electric won the Governor of Victoria startup of the year award this week and Chris shares some of the incredible work Amber Electric is doing at the moment including how they are redefining end-consumer behavior for clean energy. Amber Electric also recently went through a re-architecture on AWS to better handle more peaky workloads for wholesale energy prices and Chris shares more about this project. Finally, Chris gives insight into the future technologies he is excited about that will help catapult Australia’s pathway to a 100% renewable future.
