Broadridge Advances the Proxy Voting Data Process Using Machine Learning with AWS

When it comes to measuring results, reviewing and extracting information from votes at scale can be an arduous task. Broadridge Financial Solutions (Broadridge), a global Fintech leader that provides the critical infrastructure that powers investing, corporate governance and communications, is no stranger to this. They have been hard at work transforming proxy voting, corporate governance and shareholder disclosure on a global scale to help their clients get ahead of today’s challenges.

With massive volumes of data from shareholder proxy voting cards, they needed to automate processing and analyzing this data to quickly inform shareholders who are making important decisions.

The Amazon Machine Learning Solutions Lab developed customized solutions to analyze proxy card layouts and extract values from text. This solution using AI services on AWS has allowed Broadridge to provide data to their clients faster and create efficiencies.
