Autodesk Boosts Performance and Minimizes Operational Overhead using Serverless on AWS

To deliver faster performance and a better experience to its customers, software company Autodesk transformed its desktop water simulation products into cloud-connected solutions using AWS serverless and fully managed services. Autodesk offers products that help municipalities run simulations to understand how water behaves in various systems. Their customers didn’t always have the compute power to run complex simulations, resulting in scaled-back projects. Using Amazon ECS, AWS Fargate, AWS Lambda and Amazon EventBridge, Autodesk’s customers can now run high-scale simulations without the need to manage any on-premises infrastructure.
