Louie Gong, M.Ed. (Nooksack) founded the groundbreaking lifestyle brand Eighth Generation in 2008 in part to create more opportunities for Native American artists. Today, Eighth Generation is owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe and partners with community-based Native artists around the country to design, manufacture and market beautiful wool blankets and gifts intended for everyone around the globe.
