Nokia is leading the 6G ecosystem in North America

Nokia is engaging with major industry peers, customers, academia and research institutions globally to form a common view of and direction for 6G. Our current key engagements span the US, Europe and APAC.
In the US, for example, Nokia is a founding member of the Next G Alliance, aiming to boost North American mobile tech leadership, and the NSF-led RINGS initiative, which accelerates academic research in next-gen networking and computing. In collaboration with Qualcomm, Nokia is addressing AI interoperability challenges in multi-vendor systems using sequential learning. Additionally, Nokia co-hosts the Brooklyn 6G Summit with NYU Wireless Research Center, a key event shaping the future of wireless technology. Nokia is also part of the 6G@UT initiative at the University of Texas and the NextG initiative at Princeton University, both focused on pioneering research for 6G and beyond.
