In this demonstration video, we'll showcase how Amazon Q Business empowers administrators to precisely define its operational boundaries through customisable controls. The system offers sophisticated security measures by managing enterprise access and implementing granular Access Control List (ACL) permissions.
When a user interacts with Amazon Q Business by posing a question, the system conducts a thorough analysis of data within the enterprise ecosystem. It then generates responses exclusively from content that the user is authorised to access, thereby ensuring the protection of sensitive information.
To illustrate this functionality, we'll examine a specific example using Amazon S3 as our data source. This example will demonstrate how Amazon Q Business utilises user access mapping to deliver responses that are meticulously tailored to the user's identity and permissions during a chat interaction.
