Playing with Fire: An Immersive Odyssey with Yuja Wang draws audiences into the inner world of one of today’s most celebrated classical performers.
Produced by VIVE Arts and Atlas V in collaboration with Lightroom, this multi-user, location-based experience blends mixed and virtual reality, cinematic visuals, and spatial audio to create an intimate connection with musical performance.
Using VIVE Focus Vision headsets, audiences move freely through the space as the experience shifts between physical and virtual environments, centred around a Steinway & Sons Spirio concert grand piano that recreates Yuja Wang’s performance in real time.
Presented at the Musée de la musique, Philharmonie de Paris, Playing with Fire offers a new way to experience classical music.
