The brand that first made the flip phone a must-have in 2004 has spent the past six years resurrecting the Razr for a new generation – and it’s finally paying off. Motorola bit off a 44 percent share of the foldable market in North America last year, stealing 15% from Samsung based on flip phones alone.

This week, Motorola brought a bunch of media (including MrMobile) to Los Angeles for an early look at the 2026 Razr models meant to secure that growth. Despite rumors of precious few upgrades, it was an exciting prospect for someone who's carried the prior model almost continuously for the past eleven months.
