HelloFresh operates eight brands across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, and needed to bring fast, personalized experiences closer to users in every market.

The company launched a multi-regional application platform on Amazon EKS, placing data and caching in the right regions and routing traffic at the edge so every request lands in the nearest cluster.

The impact: high-percentile latency dropped more than 200 milliseconds in Canada, response times in Australia and New Zealand now range between 100–150 milliseconds, and a New Zealand market test achieved a 48% reduction in page latency.

Through standardization with GitOps, Open Application Model, and an intelligent edge router, multi-region expansion becomes a business decision — not a rebuild.
