Sony Xperia Z5 Compact vs. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact - Which Is Faster? (4K)

A comparison between the new Sony Xperia Z5 Compact with Sony Xperia Z3 Compact! So if you are planning to switch from the latter to the Z5 Compact or even if you are just interested in the Z series, here’s your chance to check out which one is faster and better in all aspects.

 

When comparing the physical build, the Z3 Compact has a way more plastic coverage with buttons sticking out and of course no fingerprint reader unlike the new Xperia Z5 Compact. This new smartphone has a matte outer coverage with a frosted glass back which feels nicer to the hand than the glass back of Z3 Compact. Z5 Compact also has less edge below the screen which is quite nice.

 

Interestingly the Z3 Compact seemed to be faster in startup than our Z5 Compact device. The phones were running Android 5.0.2 on the Z3 Compact and 5.1.1 on the Z5 Compact at the time of the speedtest. The user interface is similar in both devices while there are some differences in Small apps.

 

Z3 Compact and Z5 Compact turned out to be quite similar devices as both were released recently and has high end specifications. Watch out for more of our videos about the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact in the future!
