Another interesting speed test—this time between the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. But as we all know iPhone 6 was released last year while the Note 5 last month. So we are betting on the win of the Galaxy Note 5 smartphone. Can we be wrong?
As everybody knows, Apple is about to release another device to the market, the iPhone 6s which is going to be the real competitor device against the Samsung Note 5. But will the last year’s Apple iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4.1 have a chance against the new Note 5 running Android 5.1.1, let’s take a look.
The first test we conducted was the startup as usual and the Note5 started up a few seconds before the iPhone6 did. But the difference was not as high as expected. The next test was opening the app store, in which both smartphones took close time durations with iPhone’s loading being a bit faster. When the phone app was opened, the loading was again only slightly higher this time in the Note 5. Other apps when opened also showed similar loading speeds.
When looking at the multitasking screen, the Android has a swipe UI whereas IOS 8 has a very old interface. It should be mentioned that this has been changed in the iOS 9 to something close to the Android multitasking screen. But iOS 9 Beta version still doesn’t’ have a close all button which is somewhat inconvenient.
The coolest feature available in the Note 5 not present in the iPhone 6 is the SPen, which has been further improved by Samsung.
