Is Meze = eSmooth? Based on the response from our Meze rep, Meze uses eSmooth factory for production (albeit "higher quality" than what eSmooth sells directly...but how?). Putting all the aside, the sound quality is satisfactory with punchy bass and up front vocal ranges. Ebony wood housing helps to smooth out the highs for non-harsh listening sessions. The major downfall comes down to the lackluster build quality and imperfections. Total disappointment given the expensive asking price.
